Introducing a new class of potent opioid analgesics that remain in the periphery (hence no respiratory depression) and can be locally activated with light (hence no constipation). As efficacy switches, they also provide insight into how opioids can switch from weak to strong agonists! 1/6 🧵 I'm building what might be the smallest #opensource #spectrometer with an easy to use UI! I call it a pocket spectrometer. Combining #M5StickC(~$20) with #AS7341 sensor (~$16). My goal? A complete spectrometer that is barely larger than a sample cuvette itself.

I would appreciate community guidance on building out research computing resources from scratch. Rather than building/maintaining compute clusters, what are the best cloud-based, university-level research computing options? I have my experiences, but I want to hear from others.
