Welcome to the MSI Data Project! This project will provide historical + current data on MSIs in order to serve as a resource for research, institutional practice, advocacy, and policymaking by the greater MSI community. We’re excited to launch our website msidata.org.

NEW REPORT: Learn about Minority-Serving Institutions (MSIs) in our new white paper. Data from the @MSIDataProject shows 43 states and nine territories have at least one MSI, with California and Texas each having at least 100. ow.ly/vFS050Tm79X. #HSIsWeek

Extending #MSIMonday this week to join in celebrating Latine/x Heritage Month: Did you know? There were 24 funded #HSI Promoting Postbaccalaureate Opportunities for Hispanic Americans #PPOHA programs in 2021. Check out more data on our website! msidata.org/data

Continuing our feature of #HSIs, there were 473 total eligible Hispanic-Serving Institutions - Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics and Articulation Programs (HSI STEM) in 2021. Of that total number eligible, there were 90 funded #MSIMonday msidata.org/data

Happy #MSIMonday and Happy National #HSIsWeek! Did you know? Hispanic-Serving Institutions #HSIs were the first enrollment-based Minority-Serving Institutions. In 2021, there were 219 funded HSIs, which was a 29% increase from 2020.
