Culex mosquitoes don’t lay single eggs, they produce egg rafts! If you shine a flashlight at the right angle, these egg rafts look like specks of dirt floating on top of the water. Make sure to remove standing water weekly to stop these egg-laying mosquitoes in their tracks!
