I remember the first day he walked into STV’s newsroom. 1994, Shereen, Viv, Kirsty Young, Carol Smillie all there… he ordered a delivery pizza for his lunch. Nobody ever did that. I was immediately impressed - and have remained so ever since. Orrabest, John. What an innings!
