TURKEY DRIVE UPDATE: we are at 408 turkeys, looking like our biggest and most geographically diverse Easter turkey drive yet! 48 turkeys going to Ottawa, 88 birds and cards to ODSP families and others in poverty across the country, plus 242 to food banks, and through police distribution, and 30 directly to OW recipients. It's going to be a record Easter and we couldn't be happier because it is so clear how much help is needed. 💙💙💙 Still need a turkey or card? ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Annnd the first batch of Easter turkeys are delivered to the Bloor West Food bank! We had to go to plan B then plan C to get them there on time but we did! Thank you A for coordinating and personally picking some up, C for driving, and @mohamadfakih8 for funding the 50 Easter turkeys and 17 gift cards which have gone out so far 🌞🌞🌞 we'll be a total of close to 400 next week after a new request today from Ottawa I'll share later 💙💙💙 📸 turkeys on shelves waiting to be claimed at Bloor West Food Bank. @nejsnave @mohamadfakih8 The reason I am late in asking is because I have been really unwell. I had 2 surgeries one I almost died. The second one was to kill the stone that I had that was making me really sick and on wed I have to go for a third surgery to get a stint out. It's only a day surgery
