It’s crazy in retrospect how confident and hopeful my generation (millennials) were fifteen years ago. We were making ground-breaking music. We were going to end racism forever. The internet was making everyone kinder and smarter. We had such dreams of a better world.

Just to be clear, if the Sixers do dump KJ Martin's contract, they are not gaining any future flexibility by doing so. His contract for next season is not guaranteed. If they dump him, it's to get under the luxury tax. "Flexibility" is just a more palatable way of saying that.

@david_isaac86 Na Haverford Township includes Haverford and parts of Ardmore.
Htown goes from Haverford ave all the way past the West Chester Pike until you hit township line. It’s quite big.

All the shops at Brookline x Darby are outside Havertown
Closest rail station (Ardmore Junction on the NHSL) is a mile from the nearest point in Havertown

@david_isaac86 @_spacepeanut_ Rail access all over the place, including 5 block from my crib. Center of town is Brookline and Darby. Tons of shops.
You need another visit.

@Magis_Mike @_spacepeanut_ Havertown has the Y and that nice little Pennsy Trail. No rail access and no real center of town :(
Some retail along West Chester Pike but that highway sucks to be near. Could use apartments along Darby and Eagle. Veterans and Lynnewood Parks could use some upgrades.
