This video sums up our relationship with the police and how oblivious other citizens are. The car with white people goes untouched. They are cheerfully waving to the camera, totally unaware of the black people being violated behind them. This is America.

Black lives matter to brands right now, but will they still matter when the hashtag isn't trending? I want to see more brands tweet about their commitment carrying out internal, systemic anti-racism work not just this week – but until equal opportunity is a reality.
