All these current managers for the top clubs in the Premier League play attacking football except Mikel Arteta. From; Andoni Iraora Micheal Carrick Unai Emery Xabi Alonso Enzo Maresca To; Roberto De Zerbi None of these managers limit their attackers to defend instead of flow attacking football. The Cote D'Ivoire game against Germany was Arsenal style of play. We would be leading but defend until it's backfire. We scored most goals last season but sincerely we struggled to win matches. One thing about Mikel Arteta is that he doesn't give the players freedom to play. Arsenal were the only team who played offensively against their own post than the opponents. We suffered against Iraora under Bournemouth who didn't care about their backline. All what they did were to attack teams irrespective of who you are. Imagine him with Liverpool now to strengthen his squad. Micheal Carrick in the run-in was hitting his opponents with 'until the final whistle we are not accepting defeats' mentality. He always went for goals to win matches. Coming into this season is going to be a big challenge as he already beat us last season if we don't change our timid football to quick attacking football. Everyone knows Arsenal play not to lose than to win and that was poor managerial mentality. One thing a team like Arsenal lack most is comeback. Expecting comeback from Arsenal is like chicken to grow teeth. And sometimes unnecessary delays to consume time instead of hitting the opponents. A big team like Arsenal? Paul Scholes said Arsenal best position next season would be 3rd but many didn't understand him. If we don't change how we play, Arsenal is going to suffer against all these managers and I'm not the prophet of doom but if we don't develop better tactics I foresee Liverpool and Manchester United seriously fighting for the title.
