OBJ sounded crazy answering Ryan Clarke question about PED’s on @thepivot … I don’t know how he thought it sounded in his mind but all of the explaining around the question and all of the self deprecation about other stuff was the red flag. IMO he got off his path because he became a celebrity within the game@of football. He started enjoying the fruits of his labor and his career didn’t end the way he wanted to. In an attempt to get it back on track he tried to take PED’s and got caught. There’s no conspiracy theory or anything else special that happened. The end. Made him look crazier when he tried to explain it away. Just my thoughts. Great athlete and I’m sure a great person. Sometimes it’s just cleaner to say “I made a bad choice and move on”. @itiswhatitis_talk

@kwansfull @Amo4sho Seeing it, I felt the same. I’d like to hear from him on his thought process on making the decision. He was on the button (I think), had nothing invested and could have just hoped for carnage to happen, to make final 9. I believe something more was at play, but not nefarious.

@Amo4sho Yeah I didn’t mean for the post to be judgemental, rather just surprising given how solid he was playing and how huge that decision was. But reading back I can see I could’ve added more context. I’m sure I would’ve made a dozen+ punty errors if I ever got that deep in the main.

One of my biggest issues with the poker community is how judgmental it is. “Look at how bad this play is” “They are so bad” etc. How about, “Padron you played sick (he did)! Really tough hand at the end I’m sure you wish you had back. Keep you head up and come back stronger 💪🏽”

@Amo4sho IMO a lot of the negativity we see/hear from the masses, if due largely to the fact that they have no personal/emotional relationship/experience with said person. It’s much easier for some to be hyper critical of something/someone when there is no connection.

Joe seemingly has a huge blindspot for his interview skills. Normally he can to improve in places where he struggles but he seems more and more lost when it comes to interviews, there's no conversation happening
