We seem to be inundated with rhetoric meant to divide us. But kindness still counts. Treating each other with respect still counts. There’s lots to be cynical about, that I know. But today was a good reminder that it doesn’t always have to be that way. Also, coffee rules.

Today as I was rushing between meetings, I stopped to grab a coffee, I was approached by a man who wanted to know if I had anything to spare. Having no change, I offered to buy him one instead which he accepted. We had a pleasant chat and went about our days. So why mention this?
