@Anisiek3 @LaczyNasDart Full checks only started in October 25. The big airports don't have enough security for all the flights from the UK. I flew into Rzeszów and it was 20 minutes queueing. I flew out of Kraków and it was 2 hours just to check passports to leave.

@dazi180turtle The difference between the English and the German crowd is nothing. The difference between the English events and German events is that if the whistling becomes an issue then the top players can afford to skip the travel to the German events, they won't do that with English ones.

In London you pay £18 for three tiny, bland, inauthentic tacos. In California you pay $6 for three incredible, authentic tacos from a taco truck. In Iowa you pay £12 for a full plate: chimichangas, rice, salad, refried beans, pico de gallo, guacamole, sour cream and three tacos.

@danieljclarke @wadeydarts For the Glasgow prem people were shouting for Menzies to come in for a withdrawn MVG - Menzies was on stage in Krakow the following day at 12:00-CET. It was never going to happen, but demonstrates how scheduling is so tight for players.

@danieljclarke @wadeydarts True, but I don't see how you fix that when you go Premier League Thursday->Euro Tour Friday. Given Premier league invitations are not totally rankings based it would seem unfair to just exclude them alone from the Friday sessions.

@wadeydarts Should be a money deduction off the rankings for withdrawing after a draw is made. People spending a lot of money on these events for loads of players to decide the day before they can't be bothered with the travel.

@HanleyTown66 Silly question - but the predicted league sheets don't have you on due to ground grading last year. I guess you don't expect to have any issues passing? Ground looked good when we visited, but I guess you can never tell!

@seatsixtyone Trains to/from airports also bug me for this one. What do you mean your flight was delayed? Not the railways fault - you need to buy a new ticket that cost 4x more than the cost of the flight you just arrived on. Lufthansa meanwhile offering DB rail connections as part of flight.

So how do we deal with this? I gather that pressure for this change has come from overly-basic digital ticketing that has left significant scope for fraudulent refunds. But we don't have to solve it by putting honest passengers at risk. There's a better way...
