@WallStreetMav Dentist here. The jury is still out on hydroxyapetite. There's alot of conflicting studies. Personally idc what ppl use as long as they brush. Mechanical debridement is king.

Toothpaste seems like a scam now. From everything I have read, it’s all a worthless. Just use hydroxyapatite toothpaste. No BS chemicals and it’s made out of the calcium your teeth are and remineralizes your teeth.

@Tuggernutz87 @SawyerMerritt I mean… they can just lower it later if orders start catching up to deliveries. Their bigger concern is people following through with their orders out to 2027. If you knew canceling was giving up 10k, less likely to do so. It’s whatever.

What a massive mistake. The biggest issue for Cybertruck has always been price. When it was first unveiled it was advertised on multiple trims at great prices. This generated tons of hype. Sadly covid turned the world up side down. Tesla released the Cybertruck at a much higher price and demand fell off of a cliff. Now they release a trim at a much better price and demand surges. Then what do they do ? They increase the price. Are they trying to kill all momentum? Just seems like an own goal.

I love Superman and Batman, and Henry Cavill was a great Superman, and Affleck was better than I thought as Batman, and yet I haven’t rewatched it in years because, outside of a moment or two, it’s not good. What it needed was an interested studio that checked a visual director who eschews story.

To all the Tesla people: I’m a newbie I ordered the cybertruck when it still said the delivery date was June Can I count on that? Or am I getting it in 2027 like the people that order it today?

@SawyerMerritt @realpatmcd I literally put my order in this afternoon. I did get an email titled “You’re getting loyalty benefits” but I haven’t received anything showing the price breakdown (I also used health provider discount). Is there a way to check that you know of? Or should be good?

NEWS: The $59,990 Cybertruck Dual Motor AWD is no longer eligible for Tesla's referral program, effectively removing the $1k discount for new Tesla owners. It's now only eligible for loyalty benefits. The Cybertruck Premium AWD and Cyberbeast are still eligible for referral discounts/awards and loyalty benefits.

@TailosiveEV My guess is they raise it to $65k. That's the sweet spot where people who missed $59k won't feel like they shouldn't pull the trigger, but also enough that if you reserved at $59k you will want to follow through because you feel good about saving the difference.

Safe to say this has a TON of demand. Referrals are piling up like never before on my end. Very curious how much they’ll raise the price on March 3rd

Here’s a respectful counterpoint: They are currently estimating delivery 7-8 months out. If that continues over the rest of the window, possibly 9-10 months out. At that point you raise the price to $65k. Anyone who has a $59k reservation feels good about their deal and is less likely to cancel. A $5k difference is still attractive to others who have to wait closer to the end of year anyway, and this gives Tesla enough runway to see if they need to bring back 59k or other incentives.

I hate to say it, but if Tesla jacks up the price of the Cybertruck Standard, they will kill all the momentum they just created. They need to keep the price the same and keep cranking orders and pushing out the delivery dates. Then put together a campaign to try and upsell standard reservation holders into a premium through aggressive financing rates and other levers they can pull.
