Here me out: Cody Rhodes vs Randy Orton at Backlash: Randy Orton loses again and tries to kick Cody in the head, but CM Punk comes out to stop him. This leads to a match between CM Punk and Randy Orton. Randy loses to CM Punk as well, and once again attempts to hit him with the kick, but Cody comes out to save Punk. This sets up a Triple Threat match at SummerSlam. At SummerSlam: Cody Rhodes vs Randy Orton vs CM Punk. Randy Orton wins and becomes champion. Orton holds the title until the Royal Rumble, where Cody Rhodes wins it back. On the same night, CM Punk wins the Royal Rumble match. At WrestleMania: CM Punk vs Cody Rhodes CM Punk wins and becomes champion.
