@_bikeshed interesting to hear @MatthewMSumner on Thursday's episode saying that he doesn't find Scala to be a beautiful language compared to Ruby. I've always liked Scala, despite its flaws, because from my perspective, it's beautiful in a fairly Ruby-like way!

@mycoliza @_bikeshed That’s a great question! One of my main hiccups has been with type signatures being mixed in with parameters. It seems especially difficult reading some method definitions using complex types and/or implicits.
