Watching Maxx Crosby give his account of what went down in Baltimore, I think one thing is pretty clear: The Ravens decided to bail on the trade before he even got out there. They needed him to still go out there so he could do the medical testing and they could use that as the reason they are bailing.

The owner and GM are beyond secure, there was empathy and humanity re Harbaugh, candid responses re Lamar and his place in all this, and even moments of humor.
And the reporters asked good questions.

The Bisciotti / Eric DeCosta press conference today was a master class from all parties. The owner and GM were open and transparent and not scared of their shadows. The media asked the right questions and very little wasted air space. The PR staff in Baltimore let them riff.
