I am gutted today. Gutted for @lesliechurch who is a good person and genuinely deserved to win the St Paul's riding. Gutted that the @liberal_party, doing a good job, haven't been able to stop the non-stop rhetoric, lies, & nastiness of the Cons, & defeated by the future of 🇨🇦.

@TaoofStieb The whole front office has to go! They talk all the time about them making group decisions and Shapiro is part of that. I don't understand how they all still have jobs.

@The_Sly_12 @chevys_abrasive Why can't you have 3 nice lines that can score or better yet 4? Those guys can all be 4th line guys or press box. Injuries also happen. A guy like Gus could easily be moved if they needed to make room.

@chevys_abrasive So, you would expect him to play on the 3rd or 4th line because that's where those players play. Otherwise, who loses a spot in the first 2 lines?

Dear Winnipeg jets...I know guys like appleton, Barron, Vlad, iafallo and Gus are all solid NHLers but none offer even close to the value that Rutger does. This is a kid that can move season tickets and merch plus likely has a higher upside than any of those guys. Future captain

@jungleg62135331 @NikLynam He's going to be watching all of his buddies play in the NHL this year and he can't do anything for 2 so yeah he doesn't have much leverage at all. Be different if this scenario came up next year.

@NikLynam Let him play college for 2 more years. He’s got potential but an injury history. So what if he walks at that point honestly. People are obsessed with what he might be but at this point who cares. Doubt he’s ready to play 2 more years of college. Story will likely change

Interesting part of a Rutger McGroaty trade is I’m curious which direction Chevy goes with it. Rutger could foreseeable be used to: 1. Get back into the top half of the 1st round 2. Disgruntled prospect for disgruntled prospect 3. Used w/ other assets to acquire a + player now

@Cathyldemelo That's crazy!!! Parts mark up in Canada is nuts. I buy my parts from rock auto and pick up in the states for half the price. Brakes are cheap. What suspension? Like the only thing that is somewhat costly is control arms and struts. Seems like a lot but I do that stuff myself.

It’s not the norm in hockey, but in the cap era, the teams that are willing to be ruthless in pursuit of success have the advantage. Vegas won, Tampa won. The GMs willing to “throw down” with players/agents have the leg up.

@patreale7 @AllAmerican202 They played at Shaw park in Winnipeg a few years ago. Played all the hits!!! Always put on a show for the hometown. Told a lot of stories. Neil Young young playing the same venue this July! Another hometown guy.

@SchlinskyShua @AllAmerican202 They were so good. Add in Burton Cummings and Randy Turner's other work them two had amazing careers. It's a shame they aren't in the Rock and Roll Hall of fame.

@Steve_Dangle Could be a market for fringe NHLers to go and get a million or two raise. But yeah, so many questions. How are they generating enough to pay that? Who are the owners? What actual cities and what venues?

@NikLynam This isn't Toronto. Real dollars matter. The better question is can you replace those two with 1.6 and 2 Mil. So replace one with an entry level player for 1 Mil or so and another player 2.6 Mil. Can probably make the team better for same actual dollars if you ask me.

@DamoSpin Well if they don't they probably end up it getting home ice advantage. Likely only get 2 home. So that trade made Chipman about 3 million bucks or so roughly. Is that worth it? Chance there was more to be had. Business side of things it was in a weak draft.

@hangarhockey The answer is simple.. Bones is old school and stuck in his ways. He likes big players. That's why Stanley is playing. That's why Heinola didn't get a chance. Sorry but Bowness needs to go. Why do we always get these old school coaches?

@hangarhockey So when Lowry was invisible for half the season last year he didn't get benched for the rest of the year. He kept playing and was one of the best players in the playoffs last year. Why was Perfetti treated differently?

Heinola came back and instead of being given a chance he never saw ice time for the Jets despite supposedly “having made it” before the injury And Perfetti? No one wanted him gone, the game he got back in he did good & was healthy scratched after. Bowness hates him for no reason

I'm not sure why Rick Bowness wouldn't pull the goalie here, with the #NHLJets down 3 and on the power play. That's a must-score scenario, with under 6 minutes remaining, so why not try a 6-on-4? He doesn't, and Colorado kills it off.

@AlleyDalley Go watch the Edmonton and LA game since I'm sure you were watching Dallas and tell me what game was better. You obviously haven't watched Colorado and the Jets or Carolina and Isles. Agree though. Easy to tell a one team fan lol.

I saw someone call this series boring. Quick way to tell someone is a one team fan and not an actual hockey fan.
