@MayorBallard Two things… 1. The better question is what is Elon Musk talking about? 2. No, people, as any whole, are not equating this to the “end of democracy.” Just because you saw one or two idiots possibly say it doesn’t mean you should go gaslighting this. Be better.

I’ve been saying this for years. Companies move to where talent resides. Talent moves to a high quality of life. Much different than when I grew up. The point is to increase the tax base. You do that by providing a high quality of life for talent.

Here I explain that Indiana's poor and declining educational attainment, not our tax rates makes us unfit for the type of advanced manufacturing firm just announced in Ohio. Ohio didn't beat Indiana in the bid for 3,000 @intel jobs that pay $125,000 each. Indiana beat itself.
