So, if I have the Mandela effect conspiracy theory figured correctly, it's a lot like an episode of Stargate Atlantis. In this episode, there is a ship that had an experimental ship with an alternate reality drive that was jumping uncontrollably from parallel dimension to parallel dimension. Stopping it from jumping and getting back to the dimension they belong in become the challenge of the episode. I'm no expert, but according to the Mandela Effect conspiracy, I believe that's what the conspiracy theory says is happening to us. CERN has apparently knocked the Earth out of it's home dimension and now we are jumping from reality to reality where not everything is quite the same. The conspiracy theory holds that we don't know how to get back to where we belong. These differences between the reality we are in and the one we grew up in produce the Mandela effect.
