@TheJockTamson @hirahira22222 yeah that's what I'm wondering about. maybe if we take Spotify's example and the publisher can set it so the lesser known manga can be read for free but with advertisements, and if they want it accessible only to premium users then they can set that too.

Do you think it should be subscription based for a variety of manga, or do you think that it should be per priced per manga?
Subscription would give lesser known works better publicity while per manga will narrow it

@domtrop0083 @hirahira22222 if that's the case then it should allow per country content block, where it's only blocked in the country that has an issue (which I would just bypass with a VPN), rather than them going after the creators themselves.

@hirahira22222 and for smaller and more independent mangaka it would be good for them as well to get some recognition through this.

@hirahira22222 it would have to have wide adoption from all manga publishers for it to work, especially Jump which could be extra difficult. the best bit about Steam is that nearly everyone puts their games on there, while the problem with streaming services is shows are split between them.
