@BlueDouble I get how it would end up happening but it makes movement feel very icky, yeah

@MenacingMecha tbh the slight angle still isn't as bad as when some dungeon crawlers put the camera pivot IN FRONT of the camera so any rotation is like you're standing on the outer edge of one of those schoolyard spinner things

g3d didn't read vtx cols so patched that in quickly
also was in grave danger of not pissing anyone off with the camera in this one, so trying the Dark Spire angle

following on my jam prep with transitions to and from sub menu stacks (inspired by hump.gamestate)
experimented in the past few days with more detailed walls, but all the assets will be replaced with things created during the jam

- added meal deals
- player can die
- were-rabbits that are outed by scroll of noise
- mimics that are only detected when adjacent
- rock enemies with extremely high DEF but low HP, so get outed my damage scrolls
- acid slimes that corrode your equipped gear

- enemies can lower your strength, which can be restored with antidote potions
