spent years ashamed of how i reacted to being hurt. ashamed i said cruel things. ashamed i wasn't 'strong enough' to just leave quietly. but trauma doesn't produce perfect responses. it produces desperate ones. and desperate isn't shameful. it's human. the shame i carried for my trauma responses was heavier than the abuse itself. today i finally understood: when someone breaks you, you don't get to respond perfectly. you respond to survive. and surviving doesn't require shame

i thought my rage meant i was toxic. my breakdowns meant i was weak. my desperate responses meant i was crazy. but i was just a person being destroyed trying to stay alive. i'm releasing the shame i carried for that.

IM SO HEAVY ON Teaching my KIDS that if ANYBODY wanted to see you...THEY WOULD. and that includes daddy, grandma, whoever.. If they wanted to pick you up and spend time with you...THEY WOULD. And when somebody actually loves you...you will know… no questions asked fr. my kids will NEVER HAVE TO beg for a relationship with NOBODY AT ALL‼️‼️
