Le géant endormi de l’interopérabilité se réveille ? LayerZero est un protocole de messagerie inter-chaînes (« omnichain interoperability protocol ») qui permet à tout smart-contract sur une chaîne A d’appeler, de façon native, une fonction sur une chaîne B. C’est ce qu’on appelle un « message ». Actuellement, @LayerZero_Core exécute environ 400k messages inter-chaînes, ce qui fait de lui le plus gros protocole d’interopérabilité. Et les métriques sont en croissance sur la dernière année, ce qui montre que l’adoption continue malgré un marché difficile et la baisse de son token, le $ZRO. Plus de 80 chaînes et des projets majeurs utilisent déjà le standard OFT de LayerZero pour rendre leurs tokens « omnichain ».
