Aston Villa end their 30 year wait for a trophy in Europe. Spurs ended a 17 year wait for a trophy in Europe. West Ham ended a 43 year wait for a trophy in Europe. Palace have a very good chance of winning their first European trophy next week. Massive congratulations to Villa and I don't mean to take anything away from those teams, or their supporters... Different story. But take tonight's game... Aston Villa wage bill for 24/25 was reportedly £273m, Freiburg's was £20.6m. That's just not a level playing field!
