@Cameron_Forsy @JontyRalphsmith I wouldn’t call Marsh’s contribution so far with the bat ’bit part’ On Neser, if the tactic continues to be drop it in halfway n hope for the best then Neser shouldn’t have been on the plane. If we decide to pitch it up, challenge stumps, stand seam up, he’s a good option imo.

@JontyRalphsmith @Mick15_ I’ve always found the more all rounders/bit part players you pick - the more bit part results you get. The last test was a decent example, lots of players getting starts (30s and 40s) but no big scores. Not sure you’d pick Green or Marsh as pure batters or Neser as a pure bowler.

-4th Test- Khawaja Carey Labuschagne Smith Head Marsh Green Neser Cummins Starc Murphy Harsh on Hazlewood after 5, but to be fair couple of bought ones after being biffed everywhere. Or leave Hazlewood in if Starc isn’t 100%. Just think Neser and Murphy need an opportunity.

@darren_dempsey Hubris. On the Australian side of things I’ve found it unwatchable for large parts. Very much agree with you. Feel like they’ve tried to be too clever at times and over think it… only to wheel out something completely thoughtless the nest session.

I’m no test cricketer but I played a few games at a reasonable level and I cannot understand how we allow such awful captaincy. There are clearly some good cricket brains in the coaching staff so how does this happen time and time again. Or maybe there isn’t? #Ashes fields??????

@MickRandallHS I like Murphy playing. But, if you go with that then what about playing Renshaw? Head and Renshaw are far from front line spinners, but if they are only going to be bowling a spinner around breaks then they can do that role.
