I stopped shaving my body hair years ago, but shaved my legs this past week to test out a new shaving product I was sent. And it 100% confirms my belief that people who say having body hair “causes sensory issues” probably feel that way bc of hair regrowth not the hair itself lol

I will give credit where credit is due, especially when someone makes an effort to confirm the dangerous conditions on the ground, listen to the healthcare workers that are there, and change their mind when presented with critical information.

Want to clarify for a second that I was one of these people, but in the spirit of engaging with critique I spoke with medical students in cuba and when it came up had them walk me through it all. They cited the same fears of disease spread and specifically requested masks.

If anyone wants to help I spent a few hours talking to medical students in Havana today who work at a hospital who said they need N95s or equivalents desperately. I’ve already worked with someone to secure 5,000 masks but 40,000 supplies their entire hospital staff for a year.

@frogs4girls So the hieroglyphs were uses for such a long time that the sounds of words did also change multiple times before they started using other scripts. And a lot of how we pronounce egyptian names now is based on i think the greek or roman transliteration of the name.

I dont need to wonder if AI is evil you just have to see that the United States refuses to regulate it to realize the wealthy are banking on it replacing all of the workers so they'll never have to worry about continuing life as usual without peasants

BREAKING: The White House is out with a new National Policy framework for AI. The proposal says: "States should not be permitted to regulate AI development." It also says that states shouldn't be able to penalize AI companies when people break the law with their models.

— Not seeing family or friends so that if they are bombed, they don’t take their loved ones with them
