Today, I met with a number of Nigerian youths from across the country, led by former Special Adviser on Youth Matters at the APC Headquarters, Hon. Nasir Lawal, who decamped from the APC to the NDC to identify with the principles and ideology of our party. I told them that I am impressed with the quality of Nigerian youths and that they have what it takes to offer leadership and service to our country, and to change the narrative of governance. I also informed them that we have already adopted affirmative action for women and an inclusive policy for youths within the party. I directed that all of them be linked with their respective state chairmen so they can become part of the party structure at all levels, and also be free to contest for any offices for which they are qualified on the platform of the party. Nigeria has hope in its available manpower, which remains the most important resource of any nation. I therefore expressed my confidence in the capacity of Nigerian youths to bring about positive change. The NDC is a party for all Nigerians, and I encouraged them to not only be part of it but also invite their friends and associates to join. I also met with a number of women political leaders from different parts of the country who, having heard our message, came to identify with the NDC. They have been linked with their respective state chapters to ensure their full integration into the affairs of the party. In line with our affirmative policy, women must be actively involved in the leadership structure of the party. Today, I even introduced a female party chairman, and we will continue to see more of such inclusivity. I welcomed them and urged them to mobilise massively in support of the NDC vision for change. Together, we will build a truly inclusive political movement and a better Nigeria for all. — HSD

The Niger Delta holds immense potential as a catalyst for inclusive dev’t. Unlocking this potential is critical to the country’s long-term growth, stability, and prosperity. To do so, we require integrated, system-level solutions that connect policy ~delivery ~ finance into coherent platforms capable of delivering impact at scale. Together through a strategic MoU with PIND and via @UNDPNigeria’s Integrated Smart States Programme (ISSP) we join forces to design, finance, and implement investment-ready development solutions, accelerating inclusive economic transformation, strengthening institutions, promoting climate resilience, and expanding opportunities for communities.

@agnestasia_faka @Tammyy_El Only Brass Local Government alone in Bayelsa has more beaches than the whole of Lagos State, not to mention the ones in Southern Ijaw and Ekeremor LGAs. It’s not even a debate for someone who understands the Geography of Nigeria.

I just googled it , bayelsa has the highest number of beaches ( untouched) it's not accessible easily , Lagos Beaches are accessible so that's why it looks like it has the highest, so Bayelsa has the highest coastline and highest beach ( untouched) reason I said they should organize picnic , revive tourism in the state .

@MicroSmoothie @DiriAmos It’s not even about AI at this point, it’s basic awareness. Bayelsa’s geography alone tells you how much is being overlooked.”
