I get so irritated when people gag over j-hope’s verses and then go "…and to think he had zero rap background." Firstly, everyone starts with zero background in whatever they end up being great at. Secondly, he’s been doing this for over 12 years now. And thirdly, he was a street dancer who grew up on rap. He’s always had the ear and the feel for it. His verses have been hitting since day one. He has a talent for it, just say that.
