What we naut understand: 1. Millennial parents suffer their upbringing and childhood traumas. They have growing up ptsd where all systems betrayed them. Mothers were literally mad, fathers were military strict, schools were military campsites and the society placed much expectations and high standards from a child right from birth. 2. So they try so much to make sure their children don't undergo when they went through. But here's the problem. They're overdoing it and risking poor growth of their children in the opposite direction. Both ways are bad for children.

My manager used to send non-urgent emails at 10pm, 11pm and sometimes midnight with the silent expectation you’d be on top of them by morning. I never complained, just started replying exactly 24 hours later, every single time. I draft the reply immediately and set a reminder so I don’t forget. Midnight email? Midnight reply the next day. 6am Saturday? 6am reply the next week. It’s been 3 months, he now sends almost everything before noon. I consider this both a personal and professional win.
