@timeforjeffrey Simpson was scared poo-less that first game vs OU. Still at minimum a great quality backup in the NFL. On the right team he could easily become the best QB in the draft class.

Josh Norris says Ty Simpson is undraftable.

@timeforjeffrey I played flag all throughout my 20’s. The hot shot, fresh outta high school football players would come out there and get absolutely crushed by us. It’s 100% a different game. Some definitely adapted over the years if they continued to play though for sure.

I tried telling people flag and NFL football are two different sports. The pushback I got was wild.

I'm going to have a hard time ranking CJ Allen. We are talking about a sub-6-1 linebacker with short arms, who didn't do ANY athletic testing this offseason. AND... his coverage tape at Georgia was ROUGH.

@VochLombardi Cowboys would take Peter Woods if this happens. They’ve spent too much time evaluating him to not take him in this scenario. Hopefully this scenario doesn’t happen. Just get a CB and LB at 12/20.

So the Cowboys traded a 4th round pick for Rashan Gary and then extended him to a contract which pays him $10m less than what he would have made in Green Bay ($3.5m less in 2026, $6.5m less in 2027). They traded for a guy who was going to be cut, then gave him a pay cut. LOL 🤣

@Marcus_Mosher Defense is nowhere near good enough to do that, but he’s going to be a great WR in the NFL in my opinion.

@Marcus_Mosher LB’ers do randomly retire at weird stages more often than other positions. If he’s in a 1 or 2 year window then they might actually consider dealing him.

The 49ers are in a SB window. They aren't trading the best LB in the world for Osa.

The #Cowboys had the worst defense in franchise history. Rashan Gary and Jalen Thompson could prove to be huge upgrades and it's still not enough to get this unit back to being inside the top-20. That's the reality of the situation.

You can call me negative or whatever you would like... But I think it's pretty fair to be upset about how FA went for the Cowboys. The trade of Rashan Gary and the signing of Jalen Thompson doesn't really move the needle.

Things are moving fast re Maxx Crosby. Last night Dallas thought they were close to a deal but since then other teams have raised the ante and potentially are offering the Raiders 2 1st round picks Expected Dallas to now shift their focus to Trey Hendrickson
