@ETNreisenweber @BobGreenburg I understand the complexities of cost and operation but as everyone adjusts to a shot clock I believe it will make the game better. To mind, basketball is the only sport where you can just quit playing with time left without penalty.

@BobGreenburg To me it’s not about holding the ball but more about end of game situations. Without the 1 and 1 teams that are down 6-7 points with 2 min left have almost no chance without a shot clock forcing the action.

Someone explain to me how adding a shot clock makes an officials job easier? No video review to help them out, inexperienced clock operators making mistakes that will only stop games and get fans and coaches agitated. I’ve covered high school basketball games for 38 years and have seen 4-5 games impacted by holding the ball. It’s a problem that doesn’t need fixed.
