The producers profited from the spike.
The banks profited from the financing.
The insurers profited from the risk.

The Gulf monarchies profited from being “protected.”

Once the demolition and redevelopment phase through southern Lebanon and the key corridor zones is complete, the evaporation of Hezbollah is inevitable. Armed non-state actors become liabilities when investors, lenders, insurers, and governments want predictable trade routes, secured infrastructure, and redevelopment projects.
That’s why this as a clean military victory or defeat. The real questions should be regarding the map, the infrastructure, the investment flows, and the trade corridors look like afterward.
