So proud of the pupils and staff at @StJoAcad for delivering THEE best school show I have ever seen. Total hard work, dedication and talent from each and every one of you! It was a true pleasure to watch Guys and Dolls last night and wish I could come and see it again tonight 💖

This is why I do the job I do. As a teacher, I genuinely want to do the best by every young person and to help them achieve but for them to take the time to carefully select a card and gift to say thank you - it genuinely means the world 🌍

@KHair_BusEd I’d also just like to say thank for sharing the good practice, I had never heard of Quizalize so went home last night and created a quiz for my observed lesson tomorrow! It’s great to see tools I’ve never used before 🌟🌟

That’s a wrap for PP with #StrathBusEd for another year… an absolute privilege to work with you all this year and I couldn’t be more proud of everything you have achieved. Thank you for the lovely gifts and cards 🥰 looking forward to seeing many of you at the closing ceremony!

This post comes a little later but a huge well done to all our S6 girls who took part in @Future_Asset competition 2023! The girls of @StJoAcad achieved Highly Commended and even got to take part in the creation of the Future Asset video which was shown in Parliament! 🌟✨

Reflection is such an important skill in education… if we don’t reflect and refine our practice we run the risk of getting stuck and not doing the best we can for our learners.

Had a prep day off the laptop and spent my time watching one of my favourite tv shows, laminating and cutting! This year I’m saving on printing and paper and laminating plenary exit passes - cheers to reusable resources 👑
