Vedanta is not being targeted by the system… it is reacting because the system didn’t bend this time. ⚠️ Anil Agarwal is trying to turn the Jaypee case into a story of “dharma” and unfairness. But the truth is much simpler: 👉 Vedanta has spent years benefiting from political access, privatization, and institutional decisions. This is the same group that reportedly donated ₹97 crore to BJP in FY2025, with wider contributions through electoral bonds estimated at around ₹300 crore. This is also the same Vedanta that rose during India’s big disinvestment era... from BALCO to Hindustan Zinc... by gaining control of strategic national assets through state-led decisions. 👉 So the idea that Vedanta is some helpless victim of the system is hard to take seriously. 📌 Now look at the Jaypee insolvency case. Vedanta’s argument is basically: “We bid more, so we deserved to win.” But that is not how IBC works... This is not an auction where the biggest headline number automatically wins. Creditors look at upfront cash, payment certainty, execution ability, and timeline. 👉 And on those parameters, Adani’s plan was stronger. That is exactly why the Committee of Creditors voted 93.81% in favour of Adani’s bid. So this is not about some broken process... This is about a company that was comfortable with the system for years... but the moment one outcome goes against it, suddenly the language changes to “fairness,” “transparency,” and “dharma.” Vedanta was fine with the system when it was helping Vedanta grow. Now that it lost, the system itself is being questioned. ⚠️ That tells you everything.

अनिल अग्रवाल आज गीता के श्लोक लिखकर खुद को पीड़ित दिखा रहे हैं और सिस्टम पर सवाल उठा रहे हैं, लेकिन अगर पूरी कहानी देखी जाए तो तस्वीर बिल्कुल उलटी नजर आती है। सच्चाई ये है कि वेदांता ग्रुप और सत्ता के बीच का रिश्ता कोई आज का नहीं है, बल्कि सालों से बना हुआ है और उसी रिश्ते का फायदा उठाकर यह ग्रुप लगातार आगे बढ़ा है। सबसे पहले बात करें फंडिंग की, तो फाइनेंशियल ईयर 2025 में भाजपा को ₹97 करोड़ का चंदा और इलेक्टोरल बॉन्ड के जरिए करीब ₹300 करोड़ तक का योगदान, ये कोई छोटी रकम नहीं है। अब थोड़ा पीछे चलते हैं, 1998–2004 के दौर में, जब अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी सरकार ने सरकार बिजनेस नहीं चलाएगी के नाम पर डिसइन्वेस्टमेंट की नीति को तेज किया। तो सबसे पहले इंट्री करने वाली कोई कंपनी थी, तो वो वेदांता थी। 2001 में बाल्को (भारत एल्यूमिनियम कंपनी) की डील हुई। 51% हिस्सा सिर्फ करीब ₹551 करोड़ में वेदांता (तब स्टारलाइट) को दे दिया गया और साथ में मैनेजमेंट कंट्रोल भी। उस समय सबसे बड़ा सवाल यही उठा कि क्या इतनी बड़ी कंपनी की असली कीमत बस इतनी ही थी? जमीन, प्लांट और रिसोर्स को लेकर आरोप लगे कि सब कुछ अंडरवैल्यू करके बेचा गया। बाल्को के मजदूरों ने जोरदार विरोध किया, लंबी हड़ताल चली, छत्तीसगढ़ में बड़ा राजनीतिक बवाल हुआ, लेकिन डील वापस नहीं ली गई। इसके बाद हिंदुस्तान जिंक का मामला आया (2002–03)। पहले 26% स्टेक वेदांता को दिया गया और साथ में मैनेजमेंट कंट्रोल भी। फिर धीरे-धीरे ओपेन ऑफर और एडिशनल स्टेक के जरिए कंपनी का पूरा कंट्रोल वेदांता के पास चला गया। आज ग्राउंड रियलिटी क्या है? हिंदुस्तान जिंक आज देश की सबसे ज्यादा प्रॉफिट देने वाली माइनिंग कंपनियों में गिनी जाती है। वेदांता इससे भारी मुनाफा कमा रहा है। यानी जिस पॉलिसी और सिस्टम से सबसे ज्यादा फायदा मिला, आज उसी सिस्टम को कटघरे में खड़ा करने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं अनिल अग्रवाल?

Vedanta has been one of the biggest beneficiaries of India’s political and economic system for years. From BALCO to Hindustan Zinc, the group expanded through privatization, state decisions, and policy openings that helped build its empire. And even today, this is not a company disconnected from power. In FY2025, Vedanta reportedly donated ₹97 crore to BJP, with total contributions through electoral bonds estimated at around ₹300 crore. So when the same company suddenly talks like the system has betrayed it, people should see the contradiction. Now come to the Jaypee insolvency case. Vedanta’s public claim is simple: “We offered more money, so we should have won.” But under IBC, lenders are not forced to pick the biggest number on paper. They choose the plan that offers better recovery, more certainty, and faster execution. That is why lenders backed Adani’s plan. Adani’s offer gave stronger upfront recovery and a more workable timeline. Vedanta’s bid may have looked bigger, but it came with more delay and less certainty. That is why the Committee of Creditors voted 93.81% in favour of Adani’s plan. So let’s call this straightforward what it really is... Vedanta is not fighting injustice... Vedanta is struggling to accept defeat. > For years, the system helped Vedanta grow. > Now that the same system has chosen someone else, Vedanta suddenly wants to question the rules. That is not principle. That is entitlement.

Vedanta’s case in the Jaypee insolvency matter looks fundamentally weak. Being the highest bidder at one stage does not create a legal right to win. 👉 What matters is whether the final resolution process complied with the law... and on that count, the lenders, the IBC framework, and the tribunal all aligned. 93.81% lender approval is not “injustice.” It is decisive creditor backing. Adani did not win because Vedanta was treated unfairly. Adani won because its plan appears to have performed better where it actually mattered... in the final commercial evaluation.

In the Jaiprakash Associates insolvency case, Vedanta seems to be relying on public perception more than legal strength. But the legal position is harsh and clear: > IBC prioritizes resolution, not optics. > CoC decisions get deference. > And no proven breach means no easy case. 👉 That is why this challenge looks more like pressure tactics than a strong legal fight.

धारावी रीडेवलपमेंट को लेकर भ्रम फैलाया जा रहा है, लेकिन सच ये है कि गणेश नगर और मेघवाड़ी में 77 प्रतिशत निवासी पहले ही पात्र घोषित हो चुके हैं। अनिर्णीत का मतलब सिर्फ इतना है कि उनके डॉक्यूमेंट पूरे होने बाकी हैं। नाईक नगर का फैसला अभी हुआ ही नहीं है। पहली बार हर फ्लोर के लोगों को फायदा मिलेगा और घर भी धारावी में ही मिलेगा। पर जहां सर्वे रोका जा रहा है, वहां लोग खुद अपने हक से दूर हो रहे हैं। #Dharavi

धारावी में लोगों को गुमराह किया जा रहा है कि ज्यादातर लोग अयोग्य हो गए। सच्चाई ये है कि गणेश नगर और मेघवाड़ी में 77% लोग पहले ही पात्र घोषित हो चुके हैं और बाकी अनिर्णीत श्रेणी में हैं, यानी अभी प्रक्रिया जारी है। नाईक नगर की स्थिति पर कोई फैसला हुआ ही नहीं है। #Dharavi

धारावी में लोगों के बीच डर फैलाया जा रहा है कि 96% अयोग्य हो गए, जबकि हकीकत ये है कि गणेश नगर और मेघवाड़ी की Annexure-II लिस्ट में 77% लोग पात्र हैं और बाकी अनिर्णीत हैं, यानी उनके दस्तावेज अभी जांच में हैं। नाईक नगर की लिस्ट अभी आई नहीं है और इस बार धारावी में ऊपरी मंजिल वालों को भी घर मिलेगा और पात्र लोगों को यहीं घर दिया जाएगा। #Dharavi

धारावी में 96% अयोग्य होने का नैरेटिव पूरी तरह गलत है, क्योंकि असली डेटा बताता है कि गणेश नगर और मेघवाड़ी में 77% लोग पात्र हैं और बाकी अनिर्णीत कैटेगरी में हैं, यानी प्रक्रिया जारी है। नाईक नगर पर अभी फैसला नहीं हुआ है। धारावी में हर फ्लोर के लोगों को घर मिलेगा। #Dharavi
