🚨 DOUBLE FATALITY – Rockville Fiery Rollover Crash ~3:10 AM MCFRS and MCPD 1D dispatched to E Gude Drive & Norbeck Road for a single vehicle rollover collision. ~3:15 AM Upgraded to Collision with Entrapment & Fire. MCPD arrived first — single vehicle off the road into the woods, on fire with occupants trapped. Officers began rescue from the burning car. MCFRS arrived shortly after and took over. On arrival, crews found: - Two patients lying in the road - One still trapped inside the burning vehicle Three total patients confirmed: - 1 in cardiac arrest - 1 with life-threatening critical injuries - 1 trapped inside with life-threatening injuries Due to active fire with fuel involvement, Hazmat was dispatched (canceled shortly after). Some fire spread into the woods. More than 1,000 gallons of water used to extinguish. Two of the three patients were confirmed deceased on scene. The third was transported to a nearby trauma center with serious injuries. Thoughts are with the families and first responders involved. 💙 #MoCo #Rockville

5️⃣ Several crashes on I270 and I495. None resulted in any serious injuries.

4️⃣~645am MCFRS was dispatched to 13313 Darnestown Road for a reported House Fire. Not much information was provided to responding units due to a language barrier between the caller and call taker. On arrival firefighters had 2 story home with a working fire mainly in the attached garage and rapidly spreading to the attic. Occupants of the home were outside and accounted for. One occupant sustained some minor burns to their back, but refused transport. Additional fire was discovered on the rear deck, around the chimney, and inside the walls of the second floor. Some time into the incident there became a collapse hazard inside the garage, as the floors of the attic space above were starting to sag. Additionally, inside the garage there were some Quart sized oil containers leaking onto the floor. That hazard was quickly mitigated by placing down absorbing pads. At 740 the fire was confirmed to be Out✅ RedCross was notified for 14 occupants, 6 adults and 8 children. At 845 there was no longer any hazards and units began to clear the scene. #Fire

10922 New Hampshire Ave - tiny fire in the backyard.

🚨FATAL MOTORCYCLE CRASH IN DICKERSON ~110pm MCFRS and MCPD 5D were dispatched to Mouth of Monocacy Road and Dickerson Road for a collision involving a motorcycle and passenger vehicle. Only a couple minutes later while responders were still on the way the incident was Upgraded as a bystander started CPR on the motorcyclist, and more EMS units were added. The adult motorcyclist was confirmed deceased on scene. The closest fire department is Station 14 in Poolesville and was 10 minutes away from the incident. This makes the 2nd fatal crash in #MoCo today. #MdTraffic
