@SheKnowsSports My pale as paper, NYC native, married to an Asian American for 30 years, living in an Indian American neighborhood for 23 years ass didn’t know the answer to a bunch of these.

@BestfriendKick And guys, just to be clear, unless you are 100% sure she is one of the 25% of women who can have a vaginal orgasm, and you look for an indication that she had an orgasm before you finished, having intercourse with her is not making an effort to make her cum.
English

@BestfriendKick Not rape, not SA,but this guy is a shitty lover and not the “player” some are claiming him to be. She made him cum twice, and there is no indication he made any effort to make her cum. If you make no effort to make her cum during a sexual encounter, you are a loser, not a player.

@lisavsworld This reminds me of my sister-in-law. She was living with her college boyfriend of 10 years, when he had the opportunity to do his post-doc work in Hawaii. She refused unless he proposed, he didn’t propose, they broke up, and now she lives in Hawaii with her husband of 19 years.
English

She wants to get married, not be a live-in girlfriend. She's hoping he will propose and he's not getting the hint. She's probably seen her friends get into the same situation (move in with a guy, make a financial investment, he still doesn't commit), and it didn't end well.
In the 80s, a few weeks before my dad proposed to my mom, he got orders to transfer from San Diego to Hawaii. He felt like he wasn't ready to get married, so he asked her to come to Hawaii and live with him. She said no (as she should have). He came back about 3 weeks later and asked her to marry him instead. She was 22. He was 23.
We've considerably weakened as a nation.

How do you date this long and still tell yourself you need more time to think it over

@MatTheMetsFan @runwildkian So bWAR gives you credit for pitching “clutch” and fWAR doesn’t. I do believe clutch is mostly an illusion, but I think you should get credit for pitching well in clutch situations ( which bWAR gives you ) when it comes to year-end awards.
English

@MatTheMetsFan @runwildkian As you probably know (but I’ll write for other’s benefit), fWAR basically uses FIP ( with the appropriate park/era adjustments ), and bWAR looks at runs you actually gave up and adjusts for park/era/defense.

Pitcher WAR is so funny because what do you mean DAVID PETERSON has as much or a higher WAR than Crochet, Lugo, Brown. Alcantara, Misiorowski and Glasnow

@ThoNg676733 Honestly, Mary Tyler Moore. They all have the hair style she had in her show, and some of even look like her a little bit.

@GAltringham I was 7. My parents didn’t leave early enough, so I missed the iconic opening and didn’t get to my seat until Leia and Vader were talking for the first time. To this day, I get my seat at least 30 minutes before the posted start time. Aside from that, I had a blast.

@zapatas_mom The only thing that scares me about living in a walkable city is the price of living there. My wife and I lived in tiny Manhattan apartment from '98 to '02, and we had a wonderful time. However, when we were ready to have kids we moved a suburban house with room for the kids.

@imfynerthanfyne How tall is he? I couldn’t sleep on a bed oriented like that without my feet hitting the wall.
If he is tall, does he sleep all scrunched up?

@Super70sSports This gets the nod for me, not only because of how funny it is, but because of how daring the line was in the context of the time. I’m not sure how they got this past the censors.

@SchrodingrsBrat If I had gone on a date with somebody who believed in astrology when I was single, I would have been polite about it, but I would not have wanted a second date.
English

@SchrodingrsBrat It’s not arrogant to want to date somebody smart and scientifically literate ( like my wife who was an honors chemistry major at Cornell and is now an MD ) rather than somebody who believes in pseudoscience.

This tweet changed my life. I remember when I tweeted this one random evening years ago while waiting in line for the bathroom at the ballet during intermission, I had ~5k followers at the time. When I next checked my phone, my Twitter was blowing up and I gained like 500 followers every refresh. Every opportunity I’ve had since then, professional and otherwise, has come from writing online and sharing my ideas publicly. My idea of what was possible expanded. I published a book. I met my heroes. It still blows my mind that people pay money to read my thoughts on my blog, and that every time I hit “post” a sports stadium size audience accesses it
