End of an era. I actually used to work at Game in the UK during the Wii, DS, PS3 and Xbox 360 era. One time I had to wear a Mario suit and do the Mario voice to greet people. People judge what is and not what can be. According to them you’re only as good as your last failure. This view completely disrespects the learning process. At any point towards a goal, you are not there. Should you be judged for not being there yet? Or do we respect the process.

Is it just me or am I noticing a trend where white supremacist accounts are posting things like “Japan is fed up with foreigners”. It’s like they use Japan as their peak fantasy for ethnic purity which they secretly wish they had. And then they act as online police for Japan.

I did an internship in Fukuoka for a month and I noticed that many things people say about Japan on the internet/SNS is so Tokyo centric. A lot of the stuff I hear on the internet didn’t apply to Fukuoka at all for example based on my personal experience

Unrelated to Japanese but my verbal incompetence has led to many issues in my life. I can write pretty compelling text but irl I stumble and I mumble. I have this problem of my brain moving faster than my mouth and it comes out a mess. I lost a lot of oppertunities because of it.

I've got a lot of videos that are 10 - 40 minutes long in Japanese that I want to upload for YouTube. Editing doesn't take much time it's just the subtitles. A part of me just wants to put it out without english subtitles, as I know there is a Japanese audience for it...

@MobileMally You caun always put it out, and then work on captions over time then upload the SRT file to the video from teh backend later on
