@MrPicule Ya, I also heard about BIP360. Bitcoiners have to decide earlier. The fork and transfer itself take time.

@MoneySeanX Google just dropped that paper showing we only need 500k physical qubits now. The 9-minute mid-transaction attack is the real final boss for our 10-minute blocks. BIP-360 is the play but getting consensus for a soft fork is always a boss fight. Will Satoshi move his stash first?

Is quantum computing a risk for Bitcoin? Yes. 1. Could it crack mining? Possible, but not easily because of the energy requirement. 2. Could it crack private keys, especially Satoshi’s wallet? Yes. This is the biggest risk, and it could very likely happen within the next few years. The good news is, we already have some solid solutions from BIPs. My take: Bitcoin will survive.

Converting fiat to Bitcoin daily always gives me a dilemma. When the price goes up, I should be excited. But it also means my fiat buys me less Bitcoin today. 🙄
