@weakwr1st The story and animation work in tandem together, the film uses the fact it's an animation to influence the narrative. So yeah if you took a script for an animated movie and put it into live action it could definitely be whack. But that does not mean the script is bad in anyway.

Hobie Brown was EASILY the best new character in Across the Spider-Verse. Bro actually stole every scene he was in and got the biggest laughs out of me the whole movie. Plus he was genuinely so raw. I desperately need A LOT more of him in Beyond the Spider-Verse.
