@MoreHorror 1000% agree.
I'm hearing Ares doesn't even piggy back off Legacy ending? What a missed opportunity if true.
To me , Tron Legacy is more than just cool electronica and lights ... The movie had heart and meaning...
If this "goes in a new direction" I don't even want to support it

Congrats to my friend, writer Nick Simon, who I've supported since back in the 'Removal (2010)' days (if you haven't seen that film, go track it down). 'COYOTES' looks like a blast!

We don't have to drag this guest to Puyallup, she is excited to be a part of the lineup. Please welcome Alison Lohman to the Washington State Horror Con happening from October 24th through the 26th in Puyallup.
Alison Lohman has memorable performances in horror films. Her most prominent horror role came in Sam Raimi's 2009 cult classic "Drag Me to Hell," where she starred as Christine Brown. The film earned Lohman nominations at the MTV Movie Awards, Saturn Awards, and Detroit Film Critics Society for her portrayal. She later appeared in horror-tinged projects including a psych patient in the demonic possession thriller "The Vatican Tapes" (2015) and roles in the thriller "Urge" (2016) and the action-horror "Officer Downe" (2016).
Beyond horror, Lohman's film career broke through with her acclaimed performance as troubled teen Astrid Magnussen in the 2002 drama "White Oleander," opposite Michelle Pfeiffer and Renée Zellweger. This was followed by her role as Sandra Bloom in Tim Burton's "Big Fish" (2003) and her performance in Ridley Scott's con-artist comedy "Matchstick Men" (2003) with Nicolas Cage, earning her awards at the Hollywood Film Festival and Young Hollywood Awards.
Her other notable films include the thriller "Where the Truth Lies" (2005), the family drama "Flicka" (2006), the motion-capture epic "Beowulf" (2007), the grief-stricken "Things We Lost in the Fire" (2007) as a recovering addict, and the sci-fi action "Gamer" (2009).
Lohman's television work began with guest spots on shows like "7th Heaven" (1998), "Crusade" (1999), and "Safe Harbor" (1999). She starred as McKenna Reid in the short-lived sitcom "Tucker" (2000–2001) and as Lily McAllister in the soap opera "Pasadena" (2001–2002).
Meet Alison all weekend at the Washington State Horror Con from October 24th through the 26th. She will be signing autographs, taking photos, and speaking on a panel at the show. Tickets for the Washington State Horror Con are on sale now: wahorrorcon.com

@FANGORIA Just make a film where he's older, wiser, and messing with kids' minds from a wicked Zen psychological perspective. He doesn't have to run around to be scary.

Robert Englund sees a big opportunity in the world of animation for A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET. More importantly, it would provide the opportunity for him to return as Freddy Krueger. dlvr.it/TNQ592

This one grew on me over time. I loved Death Proof from day one and now enjoy Planet Terror, though it took a while.
