Andy Reid is telling us without telling us that he doesn’t want a young/up and coming OC to take the spotlight in his offense. He had NO ISSUE firing Bob Sutton and bringing in a top tier DC in Spags to replace him because he in no way threatens Andy’s job. This ironically creates a potential issue for Andy, as well. Because if the offense doesn’t improve in 2026 and the Chiefs have similar results that they had in 2025, the same fan base, who is celebrating the return of EB, won’t have a Matt Nagy to blame anymore. It will officially and rightfully fall at the feet of no one else but Andy Reid. And he will be the one that the fans will begin to turn on. I sure hope he’s right about the decision he has made.
