It is with great sadness I have to report that Max slipped away last night. His decline was rapid and heartbreaking. We made one final visit to the vet and I was with him at the end.

Very nearly a week since Keith's (@kmflett's) emergency admission to hospital with pneumonia. Relieved he's on the (longer than hoped) road to recovery. It feels more like a month....

Today marks the 7th anniversary of my breast cancer operation (followed later by radiotherapy). Glad to say I'm still here and thank you #NHS.

Today I did my first proper TV reporter shift for @bbcemt, and made the top story! 16-year-old Emma cannot believe it. A career goal ticked off 🥳📺
