We’ve gotten over a foot of snow (again) in the last 2 days, after 2 inches of rain on Tuesday. And it’s still coming down. 😭

@MrsLethal Such a different experience from say, southwestern BC where Spring arrived around 6 weeks ago. I only use the snow shovel to pick up fir cones .

@Mike17823 I’m so done. Last time I was in Calgary we left here and it was -20, got to Calgary and it was +13. Then they got a huge snowstorm on our way home at the end of March. Maybe it’s me lol

@MrsLethal It’s crazy. I got to Calgary around 730 last night and it was still brown and no snow. Wake up this morning and it’s fucken winter all over again. This is so stupid already.

@TeslaXrp Yup. Born and raised NE AB. The summers are particularly spectacular but man this winter will not end for me lol 😂 we’re all starting to get cabin fever. My teenage son just looked out the window and said “are we ever gonna get on the soccer pitch?” Lol they’re feeling it too

Apr 24: I regret to report that things in Edmonton are bleak. We are in the 12th fortnight of winter and our main source of joy, the local hockey assemblage, has lost another match to the unassuming waterfowl from the south. Soon I fear we shall succumb to our collective sadness.

@PhantomWindex Exactly how I feel. My kids had a snow day on Friday. At the end of April. Even they were like “ok that’s actually enough”

@weekendgolfer22 The ground here is pretty frozen still so we’re actually getting lots of overland water movement. The lakes and rivers may benefit from the runoff but not much is actually soaking in
