1) McCarthy on Fox on no Speaker & Mideast crisis: There is nothing the House can do until they elect a speaker. And I don't know if that happens quickly. The Speaker is part of the Gang of Eight that takes action to be able to have the briefings and others.

Watching one of those 90s movies where there’s a big party with numerous high school kids packed at some house where parents are nowhere to be seen. I argue these parties don’t exist. My wife argues they are real, but only “cool” kids get the invite.
