Two years ago, I was saying “do you have any questions?”. Last year I switched to “what questions do you have?” It made a difference. Today I tried “ask me two questions”. And they did! And those ?s led to more ?s. It amazes me that the littlest things have such a big impact!

Huge favor for parents of young kids: ask them if the number 40 is big or small/a lot or a little and report back what they say, please! 🙏 I'll share why next week!

A @desmosclassroom Polygraph activity will always be my favorite way to introduce a quadratic lesson! Picture 1 is my students’ questions BEFORE the lesson, and picture 2 is their questions AFTER the lesson! I love seeing how much learning took place!!
