@MathforLove Hi! I was the TOSA who contacted you last year about using Math for Love.😊 I helped our summer school teachers implement it. I am back in the classroom (in 2nd) this year and needed some fun math (that still allowed for student ownership) after testing. Knew it had to be this!🌟

@MrsWallingford I’m curious, since I notice you’re in a district that used our summer curriculum in 2021: did you see this lesson because you taught with our curriculum over the summer, or did you find it on our website, or some other way?

@pernilleripp I got to visit @MrsWallingford lovely class today and watch a wonderful lesson, be pet lovingly by a child, and asked my favorite color many times. Sometimes it’s just about the connections for me.

So much fun #countingcollections today! Interesting to see how students approach their collection AND interesting that most feel the need to sort by color or size before they can even begin to count. Lots of great place value convos today.
