I have the most thoughtful students! They made me a Christmas basket with all my favorite things! They coordinated with @Claudia65129145 to hide it until they surprised me yesterday with it. They even asked made me a painting and crocheted a dolphin key chain for me!

Today we played a little holiday bingo during lunch! It was a huge hit and a whole lot of fun! @Hall_AISD

Today was Grinch vs. Cindi Lou who! We dressed up in our pink or green and had many grinchy activities to keep us in the Grinchmas spirit! Seven people managed to hold on to a mini grinch in school wide hunt for a grinch. It was so much fun! @Hall_AISD

Today in class students works on all the amendment questions from past staars. They had to answer, label, & come up with key words for each theme! I was so impressed. You can always spot my students because somewhere on their 📸 roll is my poster of their amendments. @Hall_AISD

Today intervention worked on important people for staar. They had clues for each person that they had to put as evidence to support their theory of who it was at each station. @Hall_AISD

Intervention killed it with an eoc brain dump today! 17 topics and they weren’t allowed to repeat. They are laser focused! @Hall_AISD

Staar prep afterschool in full swing. Students were talking through their answers on quizlet live. Teamwork makes the dream work! @Hall_AISD

Students had a great time playing guess who practicing two sets of eoc people! @Hall_AISD

Today students in us intervention went on a scavenger hunt. Students found candy and answered the staar questions for prizes! It was so incredibly fun and I had a blast hiding the candy questions. @Hall_AISD

Today we focused on 1960s culture. We looked at art, music, created beat poems and learned about women’s rights. It was so much fun! They did such a good job on their poems. I’m so proud of how hard they are working. @Hall_AISD

Today we did document analysis roulette. Students had 5 minutes to answer 7 questions about a doc by Malcolm X or Martin Luther King Jr or analyze images that related to the topics. Once they did all 5 they had to pick a side and defend it! It was a great activity! @Hall_AISD

Today students practiced team building by building a bridge. They could only use play dough and toothpicks. They made some cool structures. They tested putting objects on their bridge and some scraped their original plans to try and adjust to be able to hold weight. @Hall_AISD

What an amazing art show at our school! @ArtsHSA and @HsaLibrary worked so hard with students to create a lunchtime show and it was a massive hit! They up-cycled books to illustrate our school theme that everyone has a story. I am so proud of everyone! @Hall_AISD

I got booed today! It was a wonderful surprise!

Students asked for a Loteria rematch so @Claudia65129145 Ms Hernandez and Ms Salinas delivered! It was such a fun round of games! @Hall_AISD

We had our annual Papel Picado contest for Hispanic Heritage Month and the big winner was Ms. Johnson’s class! Here are the runners up as well. We had some great entries! @Hall_AISD
