After learning about Ancient Civilizations, students took part in a STEM challenge. The goal was to design and create an Ancient Greek chariot. The students worked really hard to design their finished products. Very impressive work grade 4’s!👏🏻 @ms_nicolau@stconradcs
After discussing how positive affirmations contribute to a growth mindset, and help boost confidence, the grade 4’s wrote down their own affirmations and how they view themselves when looking in the mirror #metalhealthawarenessweek@stconradcs@ms_nicolau

To begin our Algebra unit, we discussed how equations are about balance and how equations can be used to describe number properties. Afterwards, the students worked in partners to create balanced equations using snap cubes. #mathup@stconradcs@ms_nicolau
Around the room Math! Grade 4’s worked in small groups to find missing side lengths, and the total area of the rectangular shapes, using the formula taught in class. @stconradcs@ms_nicolau
