INNALILLAHI WA’INA ILAIHIRRAJIUN 💔💔 I came home happy & sat chatting with my mother. She told me the meat from last Sallah was not enough for her to share with people. I smiled & told her nt to worry, tht this year I would slaughter a cow for us. She happily replied, “May Allah make it possible.” We laughed and joked together, and before leaving for work, I went to the cattle market searching for cows. After bargaining with a seller, I wanted to make a transfer, but they said they only accepted cash, so I went to withdraw the money. Filled with joy, I called her & said, “Mother, our Sallah cows are ready. This year you will share meat until you get tired.” She quietly replied, “I may not even be alive to eat from it.” I answered, “No, you will eat and enjoy it.” But Subhanallah 😢💔… little did I know my mother would not even witness this Sallah. Today the cows are here, but she is gone. May Allah forgive her, brighten her grave, & reward her for every good intention you had. We humbly ask our Muslim brothers and sisters to remember her in your sincere prayers.

INNALILLAHI WA’INA ILAIHIRRAJIUN 🥺💔 He called his friend & said, ‘My friend, once I finish serving this country, I will get married, fill my shop with goods, & continue my business.’ But not long after, he became sick & was takn to the hospital. Jst one day later, Allah took his soul 😭💔 He left this world with dreams of marriage & growing his business. But it was never destined for him.😭 The scary thing about life is that none of us knows when death will come, how it will come, or what we will be doing at that moment. Any day could be our last day in this dunya.😭💔 May Allah shower His mercy upon his soul

Today at Nakasero, I met Mr. Aliko Dangote and we discussed the proposed East African regional refinery. I informed him that from the very beginning, we have always opposed the export of raw materials without value addition. That is why Uganda delayed oil production because we insisted on first having a refinery. Without refining our oil, it would not make economic or strategic sense to simply export crude oil while others benefit from the finished products. I, therefore, welcomed the idea of a bigger regional refinery because our objective is African integration and shared prosperity. We cannot continue operating as fragmented and weak markets. If East Africa works together, such projects become more viable and beneficial to our people. Uganda is ready to support the regional refinery initiative while also continuing with the development of our own refinery in Hoima.

Until today, i never knew this guy or come across him, but the news of his tragic passing is really heartbroken; Lieutenant Abdullahi isma’il Chafe, former Amir of MSSN NDA who was among the soldiers that lost their life in a military ambush yesterday in Sokoto. He passed away a month before his marriage… 🥲💔 May Allah grant him peace, and all other soldiers who lost their lives in line to protect Nigeria 🇳🇬 🙏🏼

If you Owe someone money and the person choose to get you arrested with the Police just because you are owing. Don't fear, this is what you need to do Kindly ask the officer for his ID and station he is attached to, pass the information to someone around If the Officer refuse to show you his ID, kindly blow small alarm to alert people around cos they will be your witness when you come back. Kindly tell the Officer that this is a civil matter and you should not be arrested for such but, if the Officer feels cool to breach your fundamental human right, you won't resist arrest When you get to the station, take note of the file number your case is registered on They will surely grant you bail cos you did not commit a crime in the first place. When you come out You will file a suit against the Officer and the person who reported you to him for arrest 1. Breach of Your Fundamental Human Right 2. Unlawful Arrest 3. This is me during my Shell Recruitment Day in November 2011. 1hr after the whole day group interview, I got the phone call I can never forget, “Congratulations, they all loved you. When can you start?” If you have an upcoming group interview where they put a bunch of you together in a room and give you a task to work on together, then sit up. I will tell you my secrets. I don’t need them anymore and it can help you land your dream job. They are what I used during my SRD. I have given the same playbook to many mentees who used them to land their dream jobs in various companies. So, trust me, this works. A 🧵

My full speech today in Kano, at the Arewa Twitter Connect, I didn’t just speak, I spoke from everything I’ve lived. It is long but definitely worth listening till until the end From starting with nothing… To building something that now creates opportunities for others… My message was simple: We are not the leaders of tomorrow. Tomorrow has already come. We are the leaders of today. This generation must move beyond talk. Beyond timelines. Beyond noise. Into action, into structure, into impact. The North cannot rise in isolation. Nigeria cannot rise in division. Our strength is in unity, across regions, across tribes, across mindsets. If we truly want power, opportunity, and progress, then we must build together, support each other, and lead with purpose. The responsibility is no longer ahead of us. It is already in our hands. #Arewagrandtwitterconnect2026

"Just a few days ago, my life almost ended. Armed róbbers came into our house. My wife was with me. I was so scared. I thought it was all over. They collected money and a lot of valuables. I surrendered everything to them so they wouldn't hurt any of us. But even after all that, it still seemed not enough for them. One of them started haràssing my wife, wanting to sleep with her. I knew this could bring a stigma to my wife for the rest of her life; she might never be happy again. I could not just stand and watch him. I knew I had to protect my wife. I used all my courage and jumped on him to protect my wife. Then, I felt a sharp pàin. Then everything went dark. He shot me in the chest, & they all ran away after that. But look at God! Look at the miracle He did for me. He did not let the bullet hit any important part. By His grace, I survived. I woke up in the hospital, and they told me everything. As I'm here talking to you, my wife, my family is safe. I'm happy . It is not by my power. It is only God's grace. He kept us save He saved me for a reason. He showed that He is the greatest protector. I am so happy. I am thanking God with all my heart. My life is a true testimony. Never forget to thank God, no matter what happens. He is always with us. I'm grateful."

What happened in Yauri, Kebbi State is not just tragic, it is a complete collapse of responsibility. This is the complete story. A pregnant woman carrying twins was taken to a private clinic where doctors advised that she could not deliver naturally and needed a Caesarean section (C-S). Acting on that advice, her family rushed her to the General Hospital in Yauri for the procedure where they explained everything to the hospital staff, expecting urgent care. Instead, she was given an injection and abandoned. No monitoring. No follow-up. No care. She was left alone in the ward, when her condition worsened, she fell from the bed and with no help in sight, had to crawl by herself out of the room to reach her relatives. In pain and desperation, she called her husband begging him to come and take her away because the hospital staff did not care. When her husband arrived, he found her completely unattended while medical personnel sat in another room, distracted and disengaged. Then came the most unforgivable moment. As Friday prayers approached, the doctor finally appeared, glanced at her condition and casually said he would return after prayers to perform the surgery. He left for the mosque while a woman in critical condition was struggling for her life. Before he returned, she died. This is not just negligence. This is institutional failure. This is a system that has lost all sense of urgency, compassion and duty. No religion permits abandoning a dying person. Saving life is a higher obligation than any ritual. The Kebbi State government must be held accountable. Hospitals are underfunded, poorly supervised and staffed with people who do not act like professionals entrusted with human lives. This is the direct result of failed governance, weak oversight and lack of investment in healthcare. If leaders cannot protect the most vulnerable pregnant women seeking care then they are failing at the most basic duty of government. This cannot be ignored. This cannot be normalized. Someone must answer for this and the system must change. We can't continue like this.

10 new BVN rules you must know before May 1st The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has outlined 10 key changes to the Bank Verification Number (BVN) system, which will take effect from May 1, as part of renewed efforts to curb fraud and strengthen digital banking processes. The 10 key changes include: 1. Mobile banking apps will be restricted to one device at a time. 2. Logging in on a new device will automatically log out the previous device. 3. Switching devices will require additional verification before access is granted. 4. Suspicious BVNs will be placed on a 24-hour watchlist. 5. Banks may temporarily restrict or freeze accounts linked to flagged BVNs. 6. Customers can only change their BVN-linked phone number once. 7. The rule targets SIM-swap fraud and unauthorised access. 8. Only individuals aged 18 and above can enrol for a BVN. 9. Minors must operate accounts under a guardian. 10. Transactions on newly activated devices will be capped at ₦20,000 within the first 24 hours. The CBN emphasised that the new rules are designed to enhance security and protect customers from rising digital fraud risks.
