Morocco have officially been awarded the AFCON 2025 title after Senegal were ruled to have forfeited the final. The CAF Appeal Board decided that Senegal breached tournament regulations, meaning the match is recorded as a 3–0 win for Morocco. The original decision was overturned after an appeal from the Moroccan FA, confirming them as champions despite the chaos around the final.
