The 12:55 Thurles/Cork service has failed. The 13:55 Thurles/Cork service is being prepared to work around the stopped train. Passengers on board will be accommodated on the 13:55 Thurles/Cork train. Update to follow - MH

There badly needs to be an increase in commuter trains on the Cork to Mallow line in the evenings as well as the Cobh / Midleton trains in the mornings.
The trains are absolutely thronged and a clear safety hazard for a sudden stop with people standing in aisles.
